  • Page 5 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1. IMPORTANT: You must clean your hydroponics unit thoroughly and wash your food with clean water before consumption. Food borne illnesses can occur if the unit is not cleaned often and your food from the unit is not washed. Food born illness can cause serious sickness and or death.
  • Page 6 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Please check to make sure all the assembly parts have been included and are intact prior to system assembly. All the parts are listed in the “Additional Help” section of this manual. 2. IMPORTANT: Please thoroughly clean every part of the system prior to assembly.

  • Page 9 9. Place the tray cover on top of the 2 X 5 and 2 X 6 tray (for full assembly). Everything should be flat, and the tray cover and should seal the top. 10. After checking the submersible hydroponics pump for defects, and confirming it’s safe, place the white hose adapter into the pump outlet.
  • Page 10 11. Before plugging the pump in verify that the flow rate control knob is turned to lowest flow rate (see picture below). This will help keep your flow rate low. 12. With the pump off: place food grade tubing (.25” or 6.35 mm outer diameter) into the output of the pump.
  • Page 11 14. There’s a slot on the side of the reservoir for routing the hydroponic pump cord in and out of the reservoir. 15. With the pump unplugged: Route the food grade tubing through the .265” hole in the reservoir tray. 16.

  • Page 13 LIGHTING ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Please check to make sure all the assembly parts have been included and are intact prior to system assembly. The parts are listed in the “Additional Information” section of this manual. 2. Confirm that everything is unplugged before proceeding. 3.
  • Page 14 4. Take the upright pipe and place both into each base in the appropriately sized hole. 5. Place the adjuster on the upright pipe (on both sides). Be sure to match the proper outer pipe diameter to the relevant adapter inner diameter.
  • Page 15 6. Place the short upright pipe in the adapter on both sides. 7. Insert the short right pipe into the left and right hangers. 8. Place the top pipe in each hanger to complete the overhead of the design.
  • Page 16 9. Attach both ratchet hook around top pipe on light stand and hook back on to itself. 10. *Important* Remove the plastic covers on the end of the fluorescent bulbs before placing them into the light housing. Place the bulbs into the housing and turn ¼ of a full turn or 90 degrees.

  • Page 18 USER INSTRUCTIONS 1. After confirming a safe and correct assembly you can add water and will now be able to plug in your pump and being to recirculate your water. We recommend using RO water or as clean of water as possible. Do not use well water. 2.
  • Page 19 5. Place rockwool plug into each planting cup in use. 6. Insert the Cups in the tray holes 7. Place seeds on top of cup and push seeds down 1/8 of an inch into rockwool. We recommend planting at least 4 seeds per cup. Please use seeds that are legal to use in your growing location.

Now push down the black tabs for the time you want the lights “ON.” The tabs are in 15-minute increments. If you push tabs up, they will be in the “OFF” mode.     There is a switch on the side of the lights, so make sure it is in the right position. If lights still do not turn on there may be an issue with the ballast (fixture), and it will need to be replaced. Contact Hope Innovations and they will send you a new light assembly.
  • Page 23 Plants are not growing: Make sure you are adding the correct amount of nutrients, if you do not have enough nutrients the plants growth will be stunted. Make sure your PH is between 5.5 – 6.5. The PH controls the nutrients uptake of the plants.
