• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older 8 years and supervised.
• Children under the age of 8 must be kept away from both the ap-
pliance and the power cable.
• Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an au-
thorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
CAUTION:
This appliance is not designed to be immersed in water during
cleaning. Please follow the instructions provided in the chapter
"Cleaning".

Unpacking the Appliance

1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging materials such as films, filler
material, cable clips and carton.
3. To prevent hazards, check the appliance for any
transport damage. Do not put a damaged appliance into
operation. Return it to the dealer immediately.
NOTE:
Production residue or dust may have collected on the ap-
pliance. We recommend cleaning the appliance according
to chapter "Cleaning".

Electrical Connection

Connected Wattage
The total power consumption of this appliance can be up
to 2800 W. With this connected load a separate supply line
protected by a 16 A household circuit breaker is recom-
mended.
CAUTION: Overload!
Do not use extension cables or multiple sockets as the
power consumption of this appliance is too high for these.
Connection
• Before inserting the mains plug into the socket check
whether the voltage which you intend to use corresponds
to that of the appliance. Please see the label on the
appliance for details.
• Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed safety
socket.
