This document will help you to install and to run Baracoda Bluetooth Scanners

Please fully charge the scanner before first use

All software and detailed documentation are available on the CD as well as on our website

www.baracoda.com. Please also consider reading related hardware and software documentation

Two software components are available for use with a Baracoda scanner:

BaracodaManager, a user friendly middleware which enables easy usage of

Baracoda scanners. This software is available for PC, Pocket PC, Smartphone,

Palm, Win CE .Net, Symbian, Java and RIM environments.

A Widcomm / Broadcom or Microsoft Bluetooth driver is required (refer to

Compatibility Table)

KEmul, a simple keyboard emulation solution compatible with all Bluetooth stacks

Your terminal is already Bluetooth-enabled ?

Check your Bluetooth driver reference and simply install the correct version of

BaracodaManager or KEmul (refer to Compatibility Table)

Page 2 3- As soon as the installation is completed, install BaracodaManager If your OS is Windows XP Service Pack 2 and if you have a Baracoda Bluetooth adapter, then you do not need to install drivers: simply plug it. Windows will detect it and automatically install the appropriate drivers.
