1. General information

HACA rest platform for assembly on HACA
fall arrest rails and single rail steel ladders.

2. Assembly

The rest platform may be mounted to the
fall arrest rail on any rung of the ladder.
Depending on the version, the assembly ac-
cessories include special HACA nuts with a
grip coating. For identification purposes,
these should be mounted so that the blue
coating can be seen from the outside.
A tightening torque of 35 Nm applies to all
screw connections.

2.1 Assembly on fall arrest rails

Place the folding rest platform at the desired
ladder height. Move the two foot rests past
the ladder from behind, fold forwards and
rest on the rung of the ladder.
Push the connector with the bracket screw
from the front through the slots on the fall
arrest rail into the two central holes of the
rest platform (Fig. 4).
Now affix the counter plate, washers and
nuts from behind and tighten. Finally screw
on the two remaining nuts and lock with
the nuts already secured.
The rest platform must be so aligned that
the foot rests are horizontal (Fig. 2).
Care must be taken to ensure that a bracket
screw is additionally fixed directly on the
rung to which the rest platform has been
secured.
