Synthesizer-sectie
TUNE - pas de frequentie van de interne VCO-oscillator

aan, ongeveer een octaaf aan weerszijden van het midden.
CUTOFF- pas de afsnijfrequentie van het laagdoorlaat

VCF-filter aan. Frequenties boven de cutoff worden
verzwakt, zoals de hogere orde harmonischen.
RESONANCE - pas de hoeveelheid nadruk aan die aan het

signaalniveau wordt gegeven bij de afsnijfrequentie.
ENVELOPE - selecteer de modulatiediepte die door

de envelopgenerator wordt toegepast op de VCF-
afsnijfrequentie.
DECAY - controle over de hoeveelheid tijd die de envelop

nodig heeft om van het huidige niveau naar het minimum
te vervallen.
ACCENT - pas de hoeveelheid accent aan die aan de

uitvoer wordt gegeven voor alle noten die met een accent
zijn geprogrammeerd.
Patchbay (3,5 mm TS input en output
aansluitingen)
FILTER IN - op deze ingang kan een extern audiosignaal

worden aangesloten in plaats van de interne VCO-
oscillator.
SYNC IN- deze ingang maakt het gebruik van een externe

klok en start / stop-signaal mogelijk.
CV OUT - stuurspanningsuitgang van 1V / octaaf.

GATE OUT - poortuitgang.

PHONES- sluit uw hoofdtelefoon aan op deze 3,5 mm

TRS-uitgang. Zorg ervoor dat het volume laag staat
voordat u een hoofdtelefoon opzet.
Vervormingssectie
Deze regelaars werken alleen als de DISTORTION-schakelaar (20)
op ON staat. Het circuit bevindt zich in het signaalpad net voor de
volumeregeling en de uiteindelijke audio-uitvoer.
DRIVE - pas de hoeveelheid vervorming aan.

1TONE - pas de toon aan.

LEVEL - past het vervormingsuitgangsniveau aan.

Algemene controles

TEMPO - pas de snelheid aan waarmee het patroon en de

tracks worden afgespeeld, van langzaam naar snel.
WAVEFORM - select the waveform of the internal VCO

oscillator from reverse sawtooth or pulse.
TRACK/PATTERN GROUP - select from TRACK 1 to 7 when
(17)
writing or playing tracks, and PATTERN GROUP I, II, III, IV
when writing or playing patterns. Patterns in group I are only
available for use in track 1 or 2, patterns in group II for tracks
3 or 4, group III for tracks 5 or 6, and group IV for track 7.
MODE - select from Track Write, Track Play, Pattern Play,

Pattern Write.
POWER LED - indicates that power is supplied to the unit

and the rear-panel power switch is on.
DISTORTION ON/OFF - when OFF, the distortion is
(20)
bypassed, and the DRIVE, TONE, and LEVEL controls have
no effect.
VOLUME - adjust the output level from the rear-panel
(21)
output and the headphones output. Make sure the volume
is turned down before putting on headphones.
Sequencer Section
D.C./BAR RESET/CLEAR - this is used to clear a pattern

from memory, to return a track to the beginning, and to
signal that the last pattern is being added to a track.
PITCH MODE - selects the pitch mode on or off. The LED

will light when in pitch mode. This mode is used to enter
the notes when creating patterns.
13-NOTE KEYBOARD - these switches are laid out as a

13-note keyboard, allowing notes to be selected when
creating patterns. The lower eight switches are also used
when creating, saving, and selecting patterns and tracks.
TIME MODE LED - the LED will light when in TIME MODE.

TIME MODE ON/OFF - select the TIME MODE on or off. This

mode is used when entering the timing (note, tie, or rest)
after the notes have been entered in PITCH MODE.
BACK - when stepping through a pattern, this allows you

to select the last played note, so it can be edited. This
switch and WRITE/NEXT (35) are used to view and change
SYNC and CLOCK settings.
START / STOP - this allows you to start or stop playing the

patterns and tracks. The LED will turn on when playing.
FUNCTION - this multipurpose switch is used to return

the TD-3 to normal mode from PITCH MODE and TIME
MODE, and for various operations during pattern and
track writing.
NORMAL MODE LED - this LED will light when the unit is

in normal mode.
TRANSPOSE DOWN/NOTE/STEP - this is used to

transpose the octave downwards in PITCH MODE, enter a
note in TIME MODE, and to enter the number of steps in
a pattern.
TRANSPOSE UP/TIE/TRIPLET - this is used to transpose

the octave upwards in PITCH MODE, enter a tie in TIME
MODE, and set the pattern to triplet mode.
ACCENT / PATTERN A - hierdoor kan een accent worden

toegevoegd aan noten in PITCH MODE, en kunnen "A"
-patronen zoals 1A, 2A tot 8A worden geselecteerd.
