3. System and Hardware Overview The diagram below gives a high level view of how the lighting devices integrate into a Savant Pro System. For installation and wiring of each device, refer to the appropriate section in this document.
The Savant wireless keypad can replace any standard 120V AC light switch or dimmer and can be wired into either a standard or no neutral configuration.
Savant WI3-xxS102 Auxiliary Control, the dimmer can accommodate most 3-way wiring designs for multi-location control. Finally, the WID-xxS102 utilizes the local 802.11 b/g/n wireless network to allow it to be added to the Savant Pro System for complete control of all your lighting needs.

These higher quality components also allow for more accurate troubleshooting when needed. Connect all Savant devices to the same local area network (LAN) or subnet as the Host. Savant recommends not implementing any type of traffic or packet shaping in your network topology for the Savant devices as this may interfere with performance.
