The key being used is not au-
thorised for starting, or commu-
nication between key and engine

Remove all other vehicle keys
from the same ring as the igni-

thorised BMW Motorrad dealer.
Fuel down to reserve
Warning light for fuel down
to reserve shows.
A shortage of fuel can res-
ult in misfires. This can
cause the engine to switch off
unexpectedly (risk of accident)
and damage the catalytic con-
verter.
Do not run the fuel tank dry.
Possible cause:
The fuel tank contains no more
than the reserve quantity of fuel.
