Black Max BM4CSSAC Engine Starting Procedure

WARNING:
This Engine Starting Procedure is not a substitute for
reading the operator's manual. To reduce the risk of injury, user must
read and understand operator's manual before using this product.
Cold Engine:
First time use only: Pour entire contents of ONE engine lubricant bottle into oil fill hole.

Later uses: Check engine lubricant level and add lubricant if needed.
LUBRICANT
Carefully pour fuel into the tank. Avoid spillage.

Immediately replace fuel cap and hand tighten.
1 GALLON
Wipe up any fuel spillage.

CHOKE lever to "FULL CHOKE"

position. Squeeze throttle trigger fully through
step 6.
With throttle fully engaged,

and rope sharply until engine runs. (Max 4 times)
• If 60°F or lower, continue to pull starter grip and
rope until engine runs.
HALF
• If 60°F or above, set CHOKE lever to "HALF
CHOKE
CHOKE" and pull starter grip and rope until
engine runs.
6 After 10 seconds,
RUN position.
Warm Engine:
Press the PRIMER BULB 10 times
slowly. Set choke lever to RUN. Pull
starter grip and rope until the engine

To Stop:
DEPRESS the "STOP" switch to the STOP position.

Do not use E15 or E85 fuel in
this product. It is a violation of
federal law and will damage
the unit and void your warranty. Only use unleaded
gasoline containing up to 10% ethanol.
