• Do not pull the power cord
around sharp edges or
corners.
• Allow the coffee maker to
cool completely, always
switch off at the power
outlet, and then unplug
the coffee maker from the
outlet:
- Before leaving it unat-
tended
- Before attempting to
move the coffee maker
- Before cleaning and
maintenance unless oth-
erwise specified in this
booklet
- Immediately after use.
• To prevent damage to the
coffee maker, do not use
alkaline cleaning agents
when cleaning, uses a soft
cloth and mild detergent.
• Do not place anything, on
top of the coffee maker
when assembled, when in
use and when stored.
• Do not pour water into any
openings except for the
water tank.

• Never overfill the max
indicator line of the water
tank.
• The coffee maker should
not be placed in a cabinet
when in use.
• The coffee maker is not
intended to be operated
by means of an external
timer or separate remote-
control system or any
other device that switches
the coffee maker on
automatically.
• Keep the coffee maker
clean. Follow the cleaning
instructions provided in
this book.
NOTE
To use the delay brew
function, the coffee maker
must be powered on and
not switched off at the pow-
er outlet. If the power is
switched off, the time and
delay brew program will
need to be set again.
