Insert the (a) batteries, (b) SD card, and (c) SIM card BEFORE turning on the
camera.
(a) Insert the batteries

Mounting Strap
Antenna
Open the camera house and insert
the batteries with polarity as
marked in the battery case.
Note:
8AA Alkaline, Ni-MH, or Lithium
batteries. For better
performance, choose the correct
battery type in the camera's
menu. For Alkaline or Lithium,
choose "Alkaline". For Ni-MH,
choose "Ni-MH".
