The Flood Barrier, (backwater valve acc. to DIN EN 13564 Type 5) for Faecal-free wastewater with two self-
contained closures and an emergency stop prevents backflow of the dirty water in the event of backwater,
whereby the emergency stop can be manually operated and locked. The maintenance is acc. to DIN EN 13564
two times yearly be carried out by qualified personnel, in addition, the barrier must be cleaned and any defective parts
replaced.
ATTENTION:
• It must be ensured that the OHA blocking device is installed straight and without tension. When installing, observe the "flow direction".
• Before using a spiral, the locking mechanism must be removed!
• In the event of backflow, considerable pressure can build up in the piping system and affect the body. This can lead to a pressing out of the
barrier from the drain line. In order to prevent this, the locking mechanism must be additionally fastened.
