Chapter 1 Safety Chapter 1 Safety 1.1 Safety Information For the continuing safety of the operators of this equipment, and the protection of the equipment itself, the operator should take note of the Warnings, Cautions and Notes throughout this handbook and, where visible, on the product itself. GCM001 Galvo Cage System Adapter Chapter 2 Installation 1) Unpack the cage system adapter and check that all the parts are present. Adapter body with motor clamps fitted Screws Qty 4 Base/cover plate Rubber Gasket Fig. 2.1 Cage System Adapter - Unpacked 2) Loosen the pinch bolts on the existing mount, and remove the motor/mirror assembly, taking care not to touch the mirror surface. - Page 5 Chapter 2 Installation 5) Push the motor into the clamp until the center of the mirror is aligned with the center of the hole in the remaining clamp when viewed from above. Fig. 2.4 Aligning the X-axis Motor 6) Repeat items (4) and (5) for the Y-axis motor. Push the motor into the clamp until the center of the mirror is aligned with the center of the laser exit hole and the X-axis mirror as shown below.
