These instructions apply to the soft backrests for Combi chairs.
Intended use
The soft backrests fits all Combi chairs with a maximum user weight of 150 kg.
The backrest is available in two variations:
•
soft backrest standard size: part number 201130314
•
soft backrest high: part number 201131314
The backrest is well suited for users who need a flexible and adjustable back support that can be adjusted to the
individual. It is used in place of the standard backrest.
Installation
Remove the existing backrest by removing te clips on both sides (1). Lift up the backrest. Install the soft backrest by
placing it down into the holes in the frame (2), securing it over the pins in the frame (3). Put both clips back into the holes
in the frame (1).
Adjustment and use
The upholstery can be adjusted to the individual user by loosening or tightening the Velcro straps (4) on the back of the
upholstery.
Be certain that the Velcro straps hold when the desired adjustment is achieved.
Maintenance
The upholstery on the backrest can be removed and machine washed at up to 80 degrees Celcius. It should not be
dried in a tumbler dryer. Remember to stick the Velcro straps together when washing.
The backrest can be cleaned with common cleaning solutions without abrasive or etching properties. It is not
recommended to use solvents or chlorine.

Maximum weight of user: 150 kg.
•
The backrest must only be used as described under the section "Intended use".
•
Be certain that the Velcro straps hold after the upholstery has been adjusted.
•
Be certain that the upholstery is balanced on the backrest, so that the Velcro can attach equally on both sides.
•
Always be certain that the Velcro is sticking well and is tight.
