SUGGERIMENTI UTILI
SOSTITUZIONE SPOLE DI FILO
Quando si sostituiscono le spole di filo, le fasi operative
seguenti possono essere utili per un cambio veloce.
1. Tagliare i fili esistenti vicino alle spole. Legare le
estremità di filo tagliate alle nuove spole come illustrato
(nodo marinaio).
2. Alzare il piedino pressore.
3. Posizionare la barra ago nella sua posizione più bassa
ruotando il volantino via da voi. Tirare con cura i fili
esistenti fino a che i nodi di allacciamento passano
attraverso la cruna degli aghi e la cruna dei ganci.
TAGLIARE IL FILO D'AGO
Un filo sfilacciato può rendere difficoltosa l'infialtura dell'ago.
Tirare il filo vicino al taglia filo sulla placca ago e spingere la
leva taglia filo.
HELPFUL HINTS
REPLACING THREAD SPOOLS
When replacing thread spools, the following steps may be
helpful for quick changeover.
1. Cut off existing threads near the spools. Tie the cut ends
thread from new spools as illustrated (seamen's knot).
2. Raise presser foot.
3. Lower needle bar to its lowest position by turning hand
wheel away from you. Carefully pull the existing threads
until the connecting knots pass through needle eye and
looper eyes.
CUTTING NEEDLE THREAD
Frayed thread may make needle threading difficult.
Draw the thread near the thread cutter on the needle plate
and push the thread cutter lever (model 087 only) or draw
the thread passing under the moving cutter and turn hand
wheel towards you to obtain clear cut end as illustrated.
