If there is no water in the boiler or if the coffee
maker is not correctly positioned on the base, the
display "H2O" appears accompanied by a long
beep. If the coffee maker is not positioned on the
base within one minute, the appliance goes off.
At the end of infusion
• At the end of infusion, mix the coffee to make
it uniform then serve.
• Do not remove the coffee maker from the
base until END appears on the display.
TIP: to prepare hot coffee, we recommend using
the quantities of water given in point 2 of the sec-
tion "Preparing the coffee maker".
If using less water, you should leave the coffee
maker on the base for a few minutes.
IMPORTANT: the first time the coffee maker is
used, all the accessories and the inside of the cof-
fee maker should be washed with hot water. Then
make and throw away a few batches of coffee
without drinking.
KEEP-WARM FUNCTION
Using the Keep Warm device, the coffee can be
drunk at just the right temperature up to half an
hour after starting the machine.
The device is activated automatically every time
the appliance is turned on.
To deactivate it, press the

After coffee infusion is complete, this function is
automatically disabled when the coffee maker is
removed from the support base for about two
minutes.
If coffee is left in the coffee maker, you can place
the coffee maker on the base and reactivate the
"Keep Warm" function by pressing the
If, however, the coffee was made some time ear-
lier and the coffee maker is cold, after about one
minute the appliance emits a long beep.
Remember that coffee loses its characteristic
aroma when warmed up.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning the appliance, wait until it has
cooled down after use.
• Check regularly to make sure the coffee slits
are not blocked. Clean them with a pin (fig.
9).

• Every so often check that the holes in the disk
filter are not blocked. If necessary, clean using
a pin (fig. 8).
• Do not wash the coffee maker in the dishwa-
sher.
• When cleaning the outside of the boiler and
support base do not use solvents or abrasive
detergents. Cleaning with a damp cloth is suf-
ficient, making sure water does not penetrate
the connector.
• The boiler must be descaled every two or three
months. Make sure the boiler is cold and NOT
in place on the base. Fill the boiler with the
descaler and wait half an hour. Rinse the insi-
de, making sure not to get water on the base.
Do not immerse the boiler in water. Make at
least three coffees and throw away. Failure to
descale the coffee maker as described absol-
ves the manufacturer from all liability for mal-
function.
NB: when you remove the disk filter for cleaning
or to replace the gasket, remember to replace it
correctly before using the coffee maker to avoid
dangerous splashes of hot water.
Never rinse the boiler under the tap and
never immerse in water.
