    Lubrication points Lubricating the machine Precision coulter The joints of the precision coulter must be lubricated at intervals of 50 ha. During lubrication, check that the grease nipple is open and press the grease in until it extrudes from the joint. Wipe off the surplus grease.
  • Page 29 Joint sleeve for cover wheel. C-coulter The pivot points of the C-coulter must be lubricated at intervals of 50 ha. During lubrication, check that the grease nipple is open and press the grease in until it extrudes from the joint. Wipe off the surplus grease. The bearings of the disc coulters and the cover wheel are lubed-for-life, so they do not need to be lubricated.

  • Page 31 Gearbox Check the gearbox oil level at least once during the operating season. The correct level is approx. 2 cm below the filler cap. Oils should be replaced at least every five years, so that the condensed water is pressed out of the gearbox. Right filling volume is approx. 1.3 liters. Use ISO VG32 grade hydraulic oil. Outside of the season adjust the gearbox control to the minimum position.
