To use this function, you must download and install the latest firmware (version 1.7 or higher) on your ARCHOS product(s):

This function is available on the ARCHOS 405, 605, 705 and TV Plus. The parental code system allows you to create a passcode and hide any file or
folder from view. This is useful, for example, if you have adult content which you prefer not to be accessible by others.

By default, your device is set to "

1. From the Home Screen, select

4. Enter a 4 digit password using the keyboard, then select "

If you need to change the code again later, make sure the parental mode is set to "Adult (unrestricted access)".

In order to hide a file/folder, make sure first that the "
