Digital to Analog Audio Converter
Reference Guide
The RSO-1 makes it simple to deliver optical digital audio from
devices such as Blu-ray players, media streamers or TVs to an RTI
AD-4x/AD-8x/AD-16x distributed audio system.

Installation Notes

• Converts Optical Digital signal up to 24bit/192kHz into analog
stereo audio signals.
• Supports all common audio rates between 8kHz and 192kHz.
• The RSO-1 is intended for use only with RTI AD-4x/8x/16x Audio
Distribution Systems - See "NOTE" in No. 1 above.
• RSO-1 receives power via the AD-x Remote Source port - no
power supply is required.

Function
Plug into Remote Source Input of RTI
AD-4x/AD-8x/AD-16x.
NOTE: Set the AD-x unit's input switch
to "Remote". See the AD-x installation
manual for instructions.
Included cable used for connection
between RSO-1 and RTI AD-x.
NOTE: Standard Cat-5 cabling may
be used to extend the audio from a
remotely located source.
Plug included 3" cable into RJ-45 port.
PINOUT:
Pin1: L+, Pin2: L- (GND)
Pin3: +12VDC, Pin6: GND
Pin7: R+, Pin8: R-(GND)
Pin4/5: Not Used
Digital to Analog Audio Converter.
Plug in optical cable and wire to optical
audio source (e.g. Streamer, TV).
