Possible causes for the Seamax SMX2HP35 motor making knocking sounds every 10 seconds at 50% power include:

- A cracked or chipped permanent magnet, which can cause whining or grinding noises.
- A bent armature, which may cause uneven rotation and knocking.
- A faulty or poorly installed propeller or damaged drive pin.
- Internal motor blockage or locking, which should be avoided to prevent damage.

Inspect the motor for these issues and ensure all parts are in good condition and properly installed.
