Ankylosaurus

Ankylosaurus is believed to have been a slow-moving animal, but able to make quick
movements when necessary. Ankylosaurus was a typical representa�ve of armored
dinosaurs, with the armor growing on the surface of the body that helped it resist
a�ack from carnivorous dinosaurs. At the same �me, some Ankylosauruses also had a
bone hammer on their tail, which could shake to hit the carnivorous dinosaur. The
body length of an Ankylosaurus could reach 5 to 6 meters, making it as long as a car. It
weighed about 2 tons, causing a rela�vely slow movement. The armor was Anklyosau-
rus' the best defensive weapon.

Features
Ankylosaurus was the largest dinosaur of the Ankylosaurus family
in the late Cretaceous period in the United States and Canada. Its
head was wide and flat. The face-covering thick shield and the
triangular spines on the upper side of the head made it as if there
was a steel-like helmet on the head. The tail straight was like an
iron rod, and the tail hammer was dis�nc�vely flat.
