5. Secure the throttle control cable on the
engine shield with a cable fastener. This will
help prevent it from catching or snagging
during normal operation. Keep the other cable
fastener as spare.
Depth regulator rod
Insert the depth regulator rod through holes in
bracket from the top down with curve to the
rear of the unit and secure with a O3 cotter pin
through the holes in the bracket, passing
through the desired hole in the depth regulator
rod.

Engine oil
Engine is shipped from
factory without
oil. You must add
engine oil before
starting engine.
Add oil according to Engine Manual packed
separately with your tiller.
