    1. Safety Precautions This manual as it contains important safety advice and should be read before operating the freezer to prevent possible injury.. Precautions are illustrated in the following way: WARNING Failure to observe WARNING signs could result in a hazard to personnel, possibly resulting in serious injury or death.
  • Page 6 • Only qualified engineers or service personnel should install the unit. • Install the unit on a sturdy, level floor. • Do not install the unit in a humid place or a place where is likely to be splashed by water. The units should be installed in a dry, well entitled place.

    2. Usage Precautions Do not defrost the inside walls with a knife or any sharp object. . Do not make holes in the cabinet walls.. Frost will accumulate on the inside walls of the freezer during normal use. Excess frost may make the internal doors difficult to open. Remove the frost with a spatula, or a similar tool, or simply wipe it off with a clean, dry cloth.

    3.1 Environmental Conditions This equipment is designed to operate under the following conditions: Indoor use; Environmental temperatures between +15°C and +32 Main supply voltage fluctuation not to exceed +10% to -10% of normal voltage. 3.2 Initial Loading When loading the unit with pre-frozen materials, the operating temperature set point should not be set lower than the temperature of the pre-frozen material.

    5. Installation Do not deviate from the electric and temperature ratings printed on the data plate located on the rear, lower right side of the unit. CAUTION! Incorrect operation of the equipment could result in potentially dangerous conditions. To avoid hazards and minimize risk, follow all instructions and operate the unit within the parameters stated on the data plate.

To allow for proper air flow, a minimum of fifteen centimeters clearance is required behind the freezer. 5.2 Wiring CAUTION! Connect the equipment to the correct power source.     5.4 Door Operation (Upright Models) 5.4.1 Opening the Door Remove the padlock (If supplied). Grasp the latch handle (preferably with your left hand), and, in one movement, pull it towards to you until the latch disengages from the track. Keep pulling by the latch handle, or the integrated handle, to open the main door. 5.4.2 Closing the Door Note that the latch does not automatically self-engage when you close the door.

  • Page 14 6.1.2.3 Temperature Failure Indicator Lights when the freezer temperature deviates from either above or below the set alarm temperatures. 6.1.2.4 Door Open Indicator Lights when the main door is opened, or is not properly closed. 6.1.2.5 Compressor Protection Indicator Lights when the compressor has gone into a reduced operating state. 6.1.2.6 Ambient Temperature Indicator Lights when the ambient temperature has exceeded the upper limit of the recommended operating range.

    6.2.1.4 Alarm Mode Switch Press these keys sequentially to switch between cold alarm, warm alarm, and control temperature. 6.2.1.5 Temperature Increment and Decrement Use these keys to increase, or decrease the temperature value. 6.2.1.6 Enter/ Escape After entering the password press the key to return to setting mode. After setting, press to return to monitoring mode.

  • Page 19 6.3.5 Alarm Test CAUTION! If the warm alarm set point exceeds +10°C warmer than the operating temperature set point, we do not suggest you test the alarm as detailed below. Press and hold . The temperature display shows the temperature rising. When the temperature reaches the warm alarm set value, the alarm will sound.

    7. Maintenance WARNING! To prevent electric shock and possible injury, always disconnect the power supply to the unit prior to any repair or maintenance. Do not to inhale or consume medication or aerosols around the unit during maintenance. This may harmful to your health. CAUTION! During maintenance, wear gloves.

    7.2 Gasket Maintenance Periodically check the door (Upright Models), or lid gasket (Chest Models) for punctures, tears, or any other imperfections. Leaks appear as streaks of frost which form at the point of gasket failure. 7.3 Defrosting To defrost the freezer: Empty the freezer.

    8. Troubleshooting CAUTION! Repairs should only be performed by trained personnel. If the unit malfunctions, check the following before calling for a service engineer.. The chamber does not cool: Check the power supply and circuit breaker. The voltage is too low. (Should this be the case, call service). Check that the power switch is turned ON.

    GSM REMOTE ALARM INSTALLATION AND SET UP Locate the access ports & in the bottom left rear of the freezer. Using two wires connect the freezer to the GSM on the switch input & Turn the GSM on, and press SETUP. When the SETUP SCREEN displays, press 1...

    REMOTE PHONE ALARM INSTALLATION The alarm should be programmed before connecting it to the freezer, Requirements: - Power line (1) 1 2 3 - Telephone line (2) - Telecommunication line (3) Join the two yellow cables to create a short circuit. Lift the receiver to start the setting procedure.

  • Page 31 Replace the receiver after completing the settings. Open the short circuit to test if the Remote Phone Alarm is functioning. Locate the access ports the bottom left on the rear of the freezer. Connect the Remote Phone Alarm to the freezer with the two yellow wires.

    LCO2 BACK UP SYSTEM THE BACK UP SYSTEM WILL OPERATE WHEN THE INTERNAL CABINET TEMPERTURE EXCEEDS 5ºC OF THE SET TEMPERATURE. BACK UP SYSTEM ALARM CODES CODE REASON SOLUTION Back-up in operation.
