3. PRELIMINARY CHECKS
3.2 CHECKING THE TOOL
3.2.1 Disconnect the air supply from the tool (1).
3.2.2 Check the chuck is not damaged and freed
of debris.
3.2.3 Insert the correct tool and lock by rotating
the chuck's front end while keeping the internal
(2).
3.2.2 Ensure that the shaft is correctly installed
and locked (2).
WARNINGS:
CHECK AND REPLACE DAMAGED
OR WORN PARTS OF THE TOOL. THE SAFETY
WARNING LABELS MUST BE REPLACED IF
UNREADABLE.
3.2.3 Connect the air supply to the tool (3).
3.2.4
Squeeze the trigger for a few seconds and
check the chuck rotates without anomalous
vibrations. Do not use the tool if this occurs (4).
