    System Setup 1. Remove HD-PTZx camera from its cradle. Unlock by sliding the lever forward and swinging up and back. 2. Fold down cradle guides so they do not interfere with cable winding.
  • Page 11 3. Align keyway of connector. The wide key is aligned with the purge port. Once aligned, wiggle the connector back and forth slightly to start the seal to seat properly. 4. Tighten threaded ring. The ring will seat fully when there is about a 1/16-inch (1.5mm) gap to the base.

    Cable Strain Relief The cable strain relief is provided for when the application requires a secondary means of attachment to satisfy foreign material safety requirements. Tighten the clamp fully onto the cable 18 inches (45cm) up the cable from the connector. Attach the two eyelets to the camera base using the screws provided (M6 x 12mm).

    Operation Panning and Tilting Move joystick left and right to pan. The camera can pan continuously; there are no stops to be concerned with. Move joystick forward and back to tilt. The camera will stop when it reaches the end of travel. The tilt motor uses a slip clutch that activates at the end of travel to protect the mechanism.

    Focusing The default mode is automatic focus; there is no screen indication of this mode. To engage manual focus mode, either press the blue joystick button once or just move the joystick left or right. The letters MF will appear on the status image at the lower left.

    Auxiliary Lighting One or two optional auxiliary lamps may be mounted in addition to the camera lighting. Rotate the center dial up to turn on the auxiliary light(s). Image Brightness Adjustable Sensitivity – Indicated on the image with a scale of -7 to +7.

    Long Exposure Joystick Right The camera allows the sensor to be exposed for ½ second therefore allow brighter images in dark areas. The camera must be still to obtain sharp images.

    Keyboard Use of function keys on a standardized PS/2-compatible keyboard are used for user adjustments to the display. There are two positions for each text display, top-right and bottom-right. Using the Shift key and the Function, Time, Date, and Text can be edited. Use arrow keys to move Left/Right and use Up/Down to change the value.

    Warranty Sensor Networks Inc.     Using the display /recorder 1. Attach display to provided mount if desired. 2. Attach HDMI cable and accessory power cable from controller to display. 3. Power on controller and then power on the display. 4. Press the touchscreen controls to operate the recording.

    Viewing and Sharing video files We recommend using VLC Media Player. The free open- source program is available from videolan.org, can play any video files, edit them for length, and capture still images from the footage. The video can also be saved as a smaller, highly compressed file such as MPEG-4 (.mp4).

  • Page 29 3. Insert the pole through the tank flange-mount, loosen the clamp, as necessary. 4. Attach the hoist ring as a safety stop and lanyard anchor to the end of the pole. 5. Insert the cable through the flange-mount and fasten to the camera.

For lowering the camera further, add poles as desired by removing the hoist ring safety stop and adding a pole section. Replace the hoist ring safety stop, loosen the pole clamp and slide the additional pole into the vessel.
