    ■ Disassembly of the Display unit (X54-350):KCH-15 Disassembly Procedure 1. Remove the volume knob z and selector knob x. ■ Disassembly of the Display unit (X54-349):KCH-14 2. Remove the 2 hexagon nuts c. 1. Remove the volume knob z and selector knob x.
  • Page 4 KCH-14/15 DISASSEMBLY FOR REPAIR Precautions for Reassembly ■ Procedure when the packing (G53-0838-13) is removed from the Panel ASSY When the packing is removed from panel ASSY, affix new sheet (G11-4376-04) to the panel ASSY by following procedures. 1. Remove the white covering paper from the short side of the sheet z.
  • Page 5 ■ Fitting the convex (drain hole part) of the speaker packing to the hollow (drain hole part) of the panel ASSY : KCH-14 only Push the convex (drain hole part) of the speaker packing with a flat-head screwdriver as shown in figure until drain hole of the speaker fit to the drain hole of the panel.

    The optional display unit (front panel unit) for the TK- and the PTT and HOOK signals, are converted to serial data 5710(B)/5710H(B) comes in two models : KCH-14 and KCH- and sent to the control unit. Data is displayed on the 12-digit and 3-digit dot matrix alphanumeric display.
