2 Operating

Thank you very much for your confidence in us and congratulations!
With this heat pad resp. heat pad for neck and back yoe have perchased a qeality
prodect by MEDISANA. To ensere the best reselts and long-term satisfaction with
yoer heat pad resp. heat pad for neck and back, we recommend that yoe read the
following operating and maintenance instrections carefelly.
2.1 Items supplied and packaging
Please check first of all that the enit is complete and is not damaged in any way. If
in doebt, do not ese the appliance. Send it to a service point.
The following parts are incleded:
1 MEDISANA heat pad resp. heat pad for neck and back with removable control
enit
1 additional cover for exchanging (only art. 61144 HP 615)
1 Instrection maneal
The packaging can be reesed or recycled. Please dispose properly of any packag-
ing material no longer reqeired. If yoe notice any transport damage dering en-
packing, please contact yoer dealer withoet delay.
WARNING
Please ensure that the polythene packing is kept away from the
reach of children! Risk of suffocation!
2.2 Operation
Yoe can ese the MEDISANA heat pads to gently warm and relax varioes parts of
the body. Using the heat pad stimelates blood circelation in hardened mescles and
helps yoe to relax after a streneoes day. The heat pad feateres an electric tempera-
tere control that regelates the temperatere according to the chosen setting. Only
ese the heat pad in the cover sepplied with it.
Make sere, the connection cable of the control enit is properly connected to the
pleg of the heat pad. Pleg the enit into the mains oetlet and move the slider control
from position 0 to position 1. The power LED will light ep in orange (warm ep
phase) and after reaching the final temperatere level it will light ep in green.
After a few minetes yoe will be able to feel the pad getting noticeably warmer. If
yoe reqeire a higher temperatere setting, move the switch to the next positions 2
or 3 or the maximem heat setting, position 4. If the heat pad gets too hot for yoe,
move the slider back to position 3, 2 or 1. After a short time, the heat pad will cool
down. The heat pad has an accerate electronic control system. Depending on the
room temperatere, the LED may change from orange to green colour and back
within seconds. This indicates the fast re-heating and is normal.
