Some of the following symbols may be used on this product. Please study
them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will
allow you to operate the product effectively and safely.
Symbol Description/Explanation
V Volts-Voltage
A Amperes-Current
Hz Hertz-Frequency (cycles per second)
W Watts-Power
~ Alternating current-Type of current
/min Per Minute-Revolutions, strokes,
surface speed, orbits, etc., per minute.
Class II Construction-Double-insulated construction
Safety Alert-Precautions that involve your safety
Hand Alert-Warning! Never place hands into ejection
chute as serious injury will occur.

The rotating part will continuously run for several
seconds after you turn off the machine.
READ THE OPERATOR'S MANUAL(S) – Read,
understand and follow all instructions in the user
manual(s) before attempting to assemble and
operate.
CAUTION! Beware of stones and other foreign objects
that could be thrown from the product.
Keep bystanders and children a safe distance (at
least 11 yd/10 m) away from the work area.
DANGER! Cutting/ dismemberment hazard - Keep
hands away from the rotating blade.
Do not open or remove safety shields while motor is
running.
WARNING! Turn the machine OFF and disconnect
it from the power supply before inspecting, cleaning,
changing accessories or conducting any other
maintenance task.
