Preparation

Keep the original packaging in case the magnetic stirrer needs to be returned to us.
Carefully remove the appliance from the packaging and place it on a firm, level
surface. This should be non-slip and not prone to vibration. All four feet should stand
firmly on the surface. The supplied accessories should also be carefully unpacked
and removed.
The ambient temperature should ideally be 25 °C and direct sunlight should be
avoided.
Keep a distance of at least 20 cm from other objects all around to ensure optimum
cooling efficiency.
Keep the instrument away from heated solutions to avoid effects on the sample
temperature.
Do not place the magnetic stirrer in places that are difficult to access.
Screw the support rod as far as it will go into the thread provided on the back of the
unit.
Attach the sensor holder to the support rod using the cross clamp.
Connect the power cable to the socket on the back of the unit and to your power
supply.
Make sure that the input voltage is correct.
Align the sensor holder so that the tip of the temperature sensor is immersed at least
30 mm deep in your stirring medium. Then connect the temperature sensor to the
green socket on the back of the instrument.
