Before proceeding to Step 1 have five anchor bolts, five Lock Washers and tools ready. At least 4 other capable adults are needed for the following steps, read this page completely and understand it before beginning. ASSEMBLY TIP Step 1: Remove banding and edge protection from backboard.

Step 1: To level the backboard loosen 1/4 to half a turn (See Detail A) until the backboard can move side to side, use a level placed on the inside frame of the backboard. Have a helper push up on backboard until it is level Step 2: then tighten the nuts with a standard 9/16 wrench to keep backboard in place.
