I **** using a Reed r5000 meter and it keeps shutting down even though I **** using it. I have seen the instructions to turn this feature off, but they what the instructions say to do does not keep the device from turning off during use. The instructions say; ""Auto Power Off; To preserve battery life, the meter is programmed to turn itself off after10 minutes of inactivity. To turn this function off, enter the Data Records function by pressing the REC button."" When I do this, I hear a beep, but the device continues to power down after a few minutes of my using it. Is there more to turning off the power saver mode that I **** missing?
