2. Operation
This control unit has the same functions as the control unit
built into the ventilation unit. See the operating instructions
for information on operation.

3. Installation
installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair may only
be carried out by a qualified heating contractor.
Correct function can only be guaranteed if you observe the
following:
- Fit the programming unit to an internal wall, but not in a
recess.
- The programming unit must not be covered up by a cur-
tain or similar.
- Try to restrict the influence of heat from elsewhere (for
example from the sun, central heating or TV set).
- Avoid direct draughts coming from windows and doors.
For installation, remove the programming unit from the wall
mounting enclosure:

f Release the snap-in tab found in the opening on the un-
f
derside of the wall mounted enclosure. Press the snap-in
tab with a screwdriver.
f Lay out a 4-core CAn-BuS cabe from the ventilation unit
f
to the mounting position of the control unit.
The CAn bus cable must protrude 20 to 30 cm from the wall
for installation.
Installation with a flush box
For securing to a wall, we recommend using a flush box which
can hold this part of the CAn bus cable.
f Make sure that the screws supporting the flush box are
f
arranged either vertically or horizontally opposite one
another.
Installation without a flush box
f To secure the wall mounting enclosure, drill four holes
f
(Ø 5 mm).
f When routing the CAn bus cable, be careful not to dam-
f
age it when drilling the fixing holes.
in the area around the power cable entry (behind the wall
mounting enclosure), a reservoir needs to be made to hold 20
to 30 cm of data cable.
f Break out one of the knock-outs in the wall mounted
f
enclosure.
f Route the CAn bus cable through the hole from the back.
