o not leave appliance unattended during
use, unplug after each use (risk of fire if
an unattended appliance is left operating or
plugged in).

his appliance must not be used by children
younger than 8 years old and persons with very
extensive and complex disabilities. Children
aged 8-14 years and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge shall not use this
appliance, unless they are supervised and have
been given instruction concerning the use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with
the appliance.

leaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are older than 8
and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children less than 8 years old.

efore Connecting to the Mains Supply
• C
heck that the voltage marked on the
appliance corresponds with the supply voltage.
Risk of electric shock and fire.
• W
e recommend that the appliance is plugged
into a socket that has no other appliance
connected to it. Failure to do this may cause
an overload, trip a circuit breaker, or blow a
fuse. Preferably the socket outlet should be
protected by a residual current device (RCD).
• U
nplug the appliance from the wall socket
when not in use, or before moving and
cleaning. Risk of fire.
• T
o be protected against electrical hazards,
fire, and injury to persons, do not immerse the
mains lead, plug or appliance in water or any
other liquid. Risk of electric shock.
• N
OTE: Any plug cut from the power supply
cord should be disposed of immediately.
Inserting any cut off plug into a 13A socket-
outlet is hazardous. Risk of electric shock
and fire.

ever use the plug without the fuse cover
fitted. Ensure replacement fuse is the same
current value as the original. Replacement fuses
are available and should be ASTA approved to
BS1362. Risk of electric shock and fire.

o not place heavy or hot items on the
appliance or Power Cord or pull on the Power
Cord. The Power Cord is removable if the
Power Cord is damaged it must, for safety
reasons, be replaced with a cord available from

o not operate any appliance with a damaged
lead or plug, if the Power Cord is loose in the
Inlet, after the appliance malfunctions or has
been damaged, cracked or dropped in any
manner. Risk of electric shock and fire.

ever fit the Power Cord if it is wet or dirty
or using wet hands. Never submerge appliance
or Power Cord and make sure Power Cord is
kept clean. Risk of fire or electric shock.

irmly insert the Power Cord into the Inlet

located below the box on the rear of the Body.

nsure that the appliance is assembled with all
components in place before plugging in. Risk

hould the internal light remain illuminated
after using the appliance, immediately unplug

o not place the appliance or Power Cord on
or near any hot surface, hot hob, gas burner or in
a heated oven or hang over the edge of a table
or countertop. Risk of electric shock, fire or
injury.

o not store or use in an appliance garage or
under cupboards. Risk of fire.

o not operate on an uneven surface. The
appliance must only be operated on a flat,
horizontal surface. Risk of injury.

o not use if dropped, cracked or damaged.

ever tamper with the safety systems. They

switched on. When moving the appliance, use

into the appliance during the Dry or UV & Dry

o prevent damage to the appliance, do not
use alkaline cleaning agents, benzene, thinner,
or alcohol when cleaning. Use a soft cloth and
a mild detergent. Do not use a scouring pad
or abrasive cleaner on the appliance. Risk of

o disconnect, end cycles then remove plug
from wall outlet. Risk of fire.

roduct surface and appliance interior is subject
to residual heat after use. Risk of injury.

ARNING: UV radiation is dangerous for
the eyes and skin. Do not operate the UV-C
emitter outside the appliance.

o not use if glass in door is cracked/damaged

t is intended that replacement of the UV-C
Purification Bulb can be carried out by the
user, read the instructions before replacing the

be replaced annually. Make a note of when you
first used/replaced the Bulbs to ensure that

efore replacing the UV-C Purification bulbs,
unplug the appliance from the mains and allow
to cool down completely before replacing the
