"For safety reasons and to avoid electrical damage to the unit any Power source like an
external power supply or POE must be disconnected during the installation process. The
External Power Supply is not included in standard IP394X package"
Use ONLY 5V DC PSU
1. Connect the door lock(s), press to exit button and the sup plied protection
diode or sensor(s), wires to the provided two-wire terminal connectors.
2. Insert wired terminal connectors into the mating sockets on PCB (Figure 6-
2).
3. Connect POE/LAN cable to RJ-45 socket.
4. Connect door lock to 'REL 1' (Relay 1) and/or 'REL 2' (Relay 2) via the lock
supply.
5. If an external press to exit button is used (See also chapter 7.6 in user
manual: Web GUI Door Functions -> Sensor), connect the external
button wires to 'SEN 1' (Sensor 1) and/or 'SEN 2' (Sensor 2 )
Attention: NO/NC jumper position.
Jumper PIN (2) + PIN (1) when when selected means the relays are set to "open contact"
volt free power to unlock.
Jumper PIN (2) + PIN (3) means the relays are set to "closed contact" volt free for power
to lock.
