How do I remove an existing diverter and swap to a new diverter that can handle 3 different water flows, ceiling and 2 wall showers. I have the delta r22000 and new diverter but struggling to remove old one
To remove the existing diverter on a Delta MULTICHOICE R22000 and install a new diverter for three different water flows:
1. Turn off the water supply.
2. Remove the trim and handle to access the internal components.
3. Remove the bonnet and cap from the diverter section.
4. Take out the existing diverter by pulling it straight out.
5. Insert the new diverter designed for three water flows.
6. Reinstall the cap and bonnet securely.
7. Reassemble the trim and handle.
8. Turn the water supply back on and test all three water flow positions.
