3.6 ViC CHair rOtating inStruCtiOnS

when not in use, do not leave the ViC chair
in a recline position.

the patient should be placed in a fully
upright position with chair in low height
when transporting patient. the patient should
never be transported when the ViC is in a
recline position.

3.6.1 Mode Definitions

See Figure 3-20. transport mode is when
green arrow by the seat lock knob is aligned
with green arrow on the base and seat is locked.
non-transport mode is when chair seat has
been locked 90° counterclockwise from
transport mode. non-transport mode is to be
used only for performing clinical procedures.
