Accessory to the dataman 8000/9000 reader family

Connecting Power
To connect a power supply to the battery charger, follow
these steps:

Connect the 24VDC power
supply* to the 24V Jack
connector.
* Power supply not included. Use
your compatible 24V power supply
or the DMA-24VMBC-xx (See
Accessories).

Secure the
wires using the
cable fixtures.
Mounting
Make sure that the wires are
not pinched or bent and the
charger is not mounted in a
corner.

Remove the power supply
cover.
Ž
If you do not have a 24VDC
power supply with a Jack
connector, first loosen the
terminal locking screws,
connect two wires to the
24V terminal block, and then
secure the wires using the
locking screws.

Close the power supply
cover carefully, making
sure you do not damage
the wires threaded out the
opening in the cover.
Use the mounting keyholes or the
M3 threaded inserts to securely
mount the Multi-Battery Charger
on a wall, or other flat, solid
surfaces.

Charging Batteries
To charge your NP-100 Li-ion batteries, follow these steps:

Insert an NP-100 battery into an
empty charging slot with the indicator
arrow on the battery pointing down.

Press down the
battery until you
hear the battery
snap in place.
Ž
If the charger is connected to a power source and the
battery needs charging, the charging sequence starts
automatically, indicated by the red battery charging
indicator.

To remove a battery from the charger, simply pull out
the battery from the charging slot.
