- Page 3 Version : V1.3 sep-15 5. Hold the heaterblock with pliers and unscrew the nozzle with a 10mm wrench. 6. Hold the heaterblock with pliers and unscrew the brass nut on top of the heaterblock with a 10mm wrench. 7. Remove the hotend from the heaterblock and replace it with the new hotend.
- Page 4 Version : V1.3 sep-15 9. Heat the extruder (+/-60˚C). Once it’s hot enough, make sure to hold the heaterblock with some pliers and screw the nozzle back on to the hotend. Make sure the brass nut is thight to the heaterblock. Carefull!!! The hotend is warm.
