Robot doesn't work with new batteries in it. Sometimes I physically move the arm it starts to make a machine noise and a few lights turn on then it all turns off.

The LEXIBOOK POWERMAN MAX robot may not work with new batteries for several reasons:

1. Incorrect battery installation – Batteries must be placed with the correct polarity as shown in the compartment diagram.
2. Poor battery contact – Battery terminals may not be making proper contact, or the compartment might not be closed securely.
3. Remote control issues – If the remote doesn’t work, the robot may not receive commands. It also requires separate batteries.
4. Mechanical faults – Some users reported broken parts or features failing gradually even with new batteries.
5. Battery quality – Low-quality batteries may not provide sufficient power, even if new.

Check battery orientation, ensure contacts are clean, and test both the robot and remote with fresh, high-quality batteries.
