7. If the string is greater than -80 or +80 cents
from true pitch, tighten or loosen the string
until one of the LED's lights up.
8. The QWIK TUNE
meter is faster acting than some other guitar
tuners. On some guitars the needle on the LCD
meter may move rapidly from one reading to
another. If this happens, try striking the guitar
string more lightly. Also, when tuning an
acoustic guitar, make sure there is no
background noise in the room (voices, other
musical instruments, radio, etc.)
9. When LCD becomes faint, replace batteries
with 2 AAA batteries.
10. After 2 minutes of non use, QWIK TUNE
automatically shut off to save battery power.
11. The ELECTRONIC PITCH PIPE is activated
by the small button to the left of the ON/OFF
button. Press once and you will hear the Low
E tone. Press again for A, D, G, B, and High E
tones. Press again to turn off. These tones can
be used as a tuning reference to tune severely
out of tune strings.
