■ Do not use the device in conjunction with or in close proximity to air fresheners or similar
products.
■ Do not use the device near highly fl ammable materials (curtains, textiles, etc.). Do
not place fl ammable materials (e. g. cardboard, paper, plastic) on the device.
■ Do not insert anything into the openings on the device and ensure that these are not
plugged up. The device may not be used if openings are plugged.
NOTICE – Risk of material and property damage
■ The adapter should only be connected to a properly installed socket with protective
contacts that complies with the technical data for the device. The socket must also
be easily accessible after connection, so that the network connection can be quickly
disconnected.
■ Lay the connection cable in such a way that it is not crushed or bent and does not
come into contact with hot surfaces.
■ Turn the device off and unplug the power cord if an error occurs during operation or
before a thunderstorm.
■ Always turn the device off before unplugging the adapter from the socket.
■ Never pull or carry the device by the power cord. When pulling out of the socket,
always pull on the adapter and never on the power cord!
■ Protect the device from other sources of heat, open fl ames, sub-freezing tempera-
tures and impacts. Also protect the adapter and the connection socket on the device
from moisture and wet conditions.
■ Only use original accessories from the manufacturer so as not to impair the function-
ing of the device and to prevent possible damage.
■ Do not lay or place heavy objects on the device.
■ Do not tip the device if there is water in the water tank or the water tray.
■ The device must not be moved during use.

■ Only use the battery type specifi ed in the "technical data."
■ Remove batteries from the remote control if they are used or if the device will not be
used for a while. This helps prevent damage from leaks.
■ Do not use the remote control if a battery is leaking. Remove leaking batteries from
the battery compartment immediately.
■ Always replace all batteries. Do not use different battery types, brands or batteries
with different capacities.
