e) Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modifi ed. Damaged
or modifi ed batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fi re, explo-
sion or risk of injury.
f) Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fi re or excessive temperature. Ex-
posure to fi re or temperature above 130 °C may cause explosion.
g) Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or tool
outside the temperature range specifi ed in the instructions. Charging im-
properly or at temperatures outside the specifi ed range may damage the battery
and increase the risk of fi re.
6) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualifi ed repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool
is maintained.
b) Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only
be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.
7) Device-Specifi c Safety Instructions
a) If the battery is damaged and used inappropriately, vapours may escape.
Get some fresh air and consult a doctor if you feel unwell. The vapours may irri-
tate the respiratory passages.
b) Allow the device and battery pack to cool down completely before storing
them away. There is a danger of fi re.
c) Never breathe in the air which emerges from the compressor, never place
the adapter / compressed air tube in your mouth, nose or other orifi ces to
prevent injuries.
d) This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/
or knowledge if they are supervised or have received instruction on how
to use the device safely and have understood the dangers resulting from
failure to comply with the relevant safety precautions. Otherwise there is
the risk of incorrect operation and injuries.
e) Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the power
tool.
f) Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by children. Other-
wise there is the risk of incorrect operation and injuries.
g) Protect the charging station, the mains adapter and the mains cable from
moisture or wet conditions. The ingress of water increases the risk of an elec-
tric shock.
h) Should the charging station which is connected to the mains power fall into
water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to pull it out
of the water while it is still connected to the mains power! Otherwise there is
a danger of electric shock.
i) Never touch the charging station, mains cable or mains adapter with wet
hands when these components are connected to the mains power. Other-
wise there is a danger of electric shock.
