Do not cover the article during operation in order to prevent the
article from catching fi re.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■
Only connect the article to a plug socket with safety contacts
that is properly installed and matches the specifi cations on the
rating plate of the article. The plug socket must also be read-
ily accessible after connection so that the connection to the
mains can quickly be isolated.
■
Only use suitable extension cables corresponding to the speci-
fi cations on the rating plate of the article.
■
The article must be switched off when the mains plug is pulled
out or inserted into the plug socket.
■
In the event of a thunderstorm or damage / faults (e.g. unusual
noises, odour or smoke development), switch the article off
and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket. Have the article
checked by an expert before it is used again.
■
Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid
over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot sur-
faces. Do not wrap the mains cable around the article (danger
of the cable breaking).
■
Never pull or carry the article by the mains cable. When the
mains plug is removed from the plug socket, always pull on the
mains plug and never the mains cable!
■
Protect the article from heat, naked fl ames, direct sunlight,
sub-zero temperatures, strong temperature fl uctuations, im-
pacts, persistent moisture and wet conditions.
■
Do not place any heavy objects on the article.

Before Initial Use

Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
•
Check the items supplied for completeness and transport
damage. If you fi nd any damage to the components, do not
use them (!), but contact our customer service department.
•
Remove any fi lms or stickers that may be used for advertising
from the article and accessories.
Operating
1. Place the lamp on a dry, even surface.
2. Screw in a light source with E14 fi tting in the lamp thread.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that
is easily accessible.
4. The lamp housing has a touch sensor. To turn the lamp on or
off, touch the housing for about 1-2 seconds.
5. If the lamp is not being used for a longer period of time, remove
the mains plug from the plug socket.

Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!

Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before cleaning
the article.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the bottle. These can damage the surface.

Clean the article if necessary using a soft, dry cloth.
•
Store the article in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to
children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the article does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are
able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be
solved with the steps that are listed, contact the customer service
department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical article
yourself!
If the article will not switch on, check the following:
•
Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly? Correct
the fi t of the mains plug.
•
Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
•
Check the fuse of the mains connection.
