Infl ating the Mat
1. Remove the mat from the carrying bag
and spread it out on a smooth surface
that is free of sharp or pointed objects.
2. Place the tube (6) on the connector
of the air outlet (9) of the air pump
and twist clockwise to secure. The
bayonet end must engage correctly in
the connector.
3. If you have not already done so, attach
the bayonet adapter (8) to the free end
of the tube.
4. Open the protective cap (3) on the side
of the mat, place the tube on the
valve (2), press it down and twist it
clockwise to secure it (Picture C). The
bayonet adapter must engage correctly
in the valve.
5. Connect the mains plug of the air
pump to an easily accessible plug
socket.
6. Move the On / Off switch (5) to the I
position. The device starts to operate
and the mat is fi lled with air.
7. Once the mat is fully infl ated, untwist
the bayonet adapter from the valve.
Please Note: If the valve pin does not
turn back into the correct position and
air immediately begins to escape, turn
the valve pin a little bit until the spring
comes up. The valve is now closed. In
this case, a little more air may need to
be pumped in.
8. Move the On / Off switch to the O posi-
tion to switch off the air pump.
9. Place the protective cap on the valve
and twist it to secure it.
10. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket.

Notices on Use

You can adjust the springiness of the
mat via the air pressure. Although the
mat is harder when it is fully infl ated,
the bounce is increased. When the
18
mat is less infl ated, it is softer but
cushions less as a result. Experiment
to fi nd the level of hardness which is
right for you by fully infl ating the mat
and then gradually releasing a little air
at a time. However, it is very important
that not too much air is released
from the mat as otherwise there is a
risk of injury! It is essential to check
before using the mat whether there is
suffi cient air in it to absorb your weight
during exercising.
Make sure in particular when using the
mat that there are no pointed or sharp
objects under the mat to ensure that
the mat is not damaged while it is in
use.
Make sure that when outside you
do not carry the mat with the large
surface facing into the wind. This can
lead to the mat being unexpectedly
caught by the wind and blown like
a sail. Always carry the mat by the
carrying straps and with the smallest
surface facing into the wind.
Releasing Air and Storing
the Mat
PLEASE NOTE!
Do not breathe in the air escaping
from the mat.
1. Lay the mat fl at on a smooth fl oor that
is free of any sharp or pointed objects.
2. Open the protective cap (3), push the
valve pin down slightly and turn a little
until it is anchored in the depressed
position (Picture D). The air can then
escape easily.
3. Press all of the air out of the mat.
The mat must be folded together so that it
has a maximum width of the carrying bag
(about 20 cm). When you do this, make
sure that it is not bent too much.
