Your computer provides an array of seven indicators below the display
screen, showing the status of the computer and its components.
Icon Function
Wireless indicator
Power indicator
Sleep
Media activity
Battery indicator
Caps Lock
Num Lock
1. Charging: The light shows amber when the battery is charging.
2. Fully charged: The light shows green when in AC mode.
Description
Lights to indicate the status of wireless
LAN communications.
Lights up when the computer is on.
Lights up when the computer enters
Standby mode, and blinks when it enters
into or resumes from Hibernation mode.
Indicates when the hard disk or optical
drive is active.
Lights when the battery is being charged.
Lights up when Caps Lock is activated.
Lights up when Num Lock is activated.
