PAB Helmet MP1 Standard version meets safety requirements and conforms to EN 16471:2014, EN 16473:2014 and EN166:2004 European standards. It has been designed to protect the head under the most extreme conditions. It has an optimal relationship between protection and comfort with a broad spectrum of optional upgrades.
Read the instructions carefully before wearing the helmet. PAB accepts no liability, if the product has been used inappropriately or if it is not used as intended. Product liability claims and warranties made by PAB for the product are voided, if the product is not used, serviced or maintained properly.

Even though such damage may not be readily apparent, any helmet subjected to severe impact should be replaced. Replace any damaged parts only with original PAB parts, as only these original parts are authorised and ensure the performance of the helmet.

MP1 Standard UNPACKING Picture 5 Remove the helmet from the plastic bag. Take out the neck protector (if included) and the textile bag. Read the instructions carefully before wearing the helmet. Perform a detailed inspection of the helmet and check if all its components are in their place and properly fixed before wearing the helmet.

MP1 Standard Tighten the headband: turn the ratchet knob clockwise until the headband is tight but comfortable (fits sizes from 52 to 64 cm). To check whether the headband is correctly adjusted lean your head forward and leave the chin strap unfastened - the helmet shall not fall off.

HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS Adjust the chin strap: tighten the left part of the chin strap until tight but comfortable. Adjust the plastic rings to secure the strap. TWIN CHIN STRAP Picture 13 Adjust the right part of the chin strap: tighten the right part of the chin strap until tight but comfortable.

CERTIFICATES REMOVE THE HELMET Loosen the headband: turn the ratchet knob anticlockwise. Picture 16 Picture 17 SNAP-FIT BUCKLE Open the chin strap – if your helmet configuration includes a snap-fit buckle, press on both sides of the buckle to open the chin strap and then remove the helmet from the head.

Warning: The face shield and internal goggles will serve to the intended purpose of face and eye guard only in the use position. While using the breathing apparatus (SCBA) the face shield and internal goggles should be in the standby position (stored over the helmet). Face shields worn over non-designated corrective frames may transmit impacts which may damage the corrective eyewear thus creating a hazard to the wearer.

ATTACHING THE NECK PROTECTORS (*Optional) *Neck protectors are optional accessories. If you purchased the version with a neck protector, please follow the instructions below. Different versions (leather, aluminised fibre, Nomex or meta-aramid) of standard neck protector for rear protection can be attached. Warning: Do not drop the helmet. Prevent impacts to the helmet that could damage (scratch or cause cracks) the internal goggles or face shield (if included in your configuration). Check regularly the helmet for cracks on the parts in contact with the skin. These damages could cause discomfort.

In case of evident damage (impacts, broken parts, significant scratches, torn straps or paddings, coating removal on the shell or visors, missing components, etc.) identified during the regular checks, the helmet shall be sent to a PAB approved maintenance centre for complete control processing.

HELMET Before transport put the face shield and/or the goggles in standby position and place the helmet in a PAB protective textile bag. FACE SHIELDS AND GOGGLES AS SPARE PART The face shields and goggles shall be stored and transported in their plastic bags until mounted on the helmet.
