  • Page 18 Inside the DWEx enclosure (see Figure 4), an explosion-proof box DKV-3 manufactured by "Armtel" LLC is fixed on the posts. In the upper part of the DKV-3 box there is an additional amplifier (5), in the lower part of the box there is a block of main boards (4). The explosion- proof DKV-3 box with the main boards block and the additional amplifier is connected to the terminal box (3) and to the KIB board (6).
  • Page 19 In the latter case, the incoming message is broadcast simultaneously by the integrated and auxiliary amplifiers, but only before pressing of DWEx key to respond the call. After the response, the auxiliary amplifier is turned off, and the calls are only broadcast to the integrated amplifier.

    2.2 Explosion-proof operation 2.2.1 When operating DWEx, must be guided by Chapter 3.4 of the "Rules for the Technical Operation of Consumer Electrical Installations", Chapter 7.3 PUE, GOST IEC 60079- 14-2013 (EN 60079-14:2012), GOST IEC 60079-17-2013 (EN 60079-17:2014) and other documents in force at the facility.

    1. Removing DWEx and connection cables from the shipping container. 2. Removing DWEx and connection cables from the customer package. 3. Check the scope of supply of DWEx according to product passport. 4. Inspect DWEx enclosure visually, no mechanical damages (cracks, dents, etc.) on the enclosure, cover or controls are allowed.

    2.5.1.7 To protect from mechanical damage and for explosion safety requirements, cables connected to the DWEx will be fixed in the cable glands to make them free of tension or torsion. To ensure explosion-resistance of input devices, unused cable gland must be sealed by the cable gland plug provided.

    Before installing the unit at the workplace make the markings in accordance with Figure 6. The height of the DWEx attachment to the wall is determined so that the microphone is at the level of the person's mouth, i.e. 1500 -1600 mm from the floor elevation.

    DWEx unit enables to realize different communication modes, depending on the possibilities and configuration of the communication system. An individual function can be assigned to each DWEx key / key, for example, a call of a subscriber or a group, reproduction of a speech fragment.
