operation after the storage period.

Battery life

Batteries can suffer from ageing in their performance after a large number of
charges. This will depend on the usage patterns of the power-assisted bicycle.
You must dispose of your used batteries at your local store or specialised
recycling depot. Most importantly, do not throw your end of life battery into
the environment.
VIII.

Battery maintenance

To ensure maximum battery life and protect it from damage, please follow the use and care
instructions below:
When you notice that the charge drops to 10%, the battery needs to be charged quickly.
RECOMMENDATION: If the bicycle is not used frequently for a certain period of time, it
must be fully recharged every month. The battery case must be stored in a dry,
protected place, at a temperature between 5 and 35°C.
WARNING:
The battery life may be reduced if it is in storage for a long time without regular
charging as described above.
Do not use any metal to directly connect two poles of the battery as this could
cause it to short circuit.
Never place the battery near a fireplace or other heat source.
Do not shake, knock, or drop the battery.
When the battery pack is removed from the bicycle, keep it out of the reach of
children to prevent accidents.
You must not open the battery.
IX.
