Disconnect the device from the power supply

Damage caused by solar radiation
The device can become very hot due to direct sunlight.
Position the device so that the sun cannot shine directly

on the device.
Interference caused by poor shielding
The shielding of your connecting cable attenuates incoming
and outgoing interference from the cable.
