ADS Tech Instant TV Deluxe PCI Driver Installation Guide
This guide will walk you through on how to update the drivers for the Instant TV Deluxe PCI within the
Device Manager.
Note: to open the Device Manager window, right-click on My Computer and click on Properties. Then
click on the Hardware Tab and finally on the Device Manager button.
Step 1:
Click on the "+" sign next to Sound, video and game controllers and locate:
1) Conexant 2388x AVStream Crossbar
2) Conexant 2388x MPEG Encoder
3) Conexant 2388x Tuner (Silicon)
4) Conexant 2388x Video Capture

- Page 4 Step 6: Select Have Disk… Step 7: Select Browse…...
- Page 5 Step 8: 1) Select Desktop from the drop-down menu for Look in: Note: the Desktop location may change depending on where the downloaded drivers were extracted to 2) Double-click on the driver folder 3) Double-click on the Instant TV Deluxe PCI folder 4) Select Open to continue Step 9: Select ADS PTV 305 AVStream Crossbar and then Next to continue...
- Page 6 Step 10: Select Yes to continue Step 11: Please be patient as the drivers install Step 12: Select Finish to continue...
- Page 7 Step 13: 1) Right-click on Conexant 2388x MPEG Encoder and select Update Driver… 2) Repeat steps 3 through 12 from above IMPORTANT!!! Select ADS PTV 305 MPEG Encoder in step 9. Step 14: 1) Right-click on Conexant 2388x Tuner (Silicon) and select Update Driver… 2) Repeat steps 3 through 12 from above IMPORTANT!!! Select ADS PTV 305 Tuner (Silicon) in step 9.
- Page 8 Step 15: 1) Right-click on Conexant 2388x Video Capture and select Update Driver… 2) Repeat steps 3 through 12 from above IMPORTANT!!! Select ADS PTV 305 Video Capture in step 9. Congratulations! The Instant TV Deluxe PCI is installed and ready to use.
