Your new subwoofer, properly installed, will give you all the satisfaction and enjoyment you expect from Kharma. As with any high quality product, special care must be taken to install your subwoofer. -

Charles van Oosterum has created the Enigma Veyron line on his journey to create the ultimate audio experience. KHARMA HIGH-END PRODUCTS BEYOND IMAGINATION Unpacking Opening the crate Upon opening the crate, inspect the crate carefully for any sign of transport damage. If there is damage, immediately call your dealer or the trucking firm that made the delivery. The Tungsten Balls are packed separately, where the Diamond discs are already placed in the aluminium discs.

KHARMA HIGH-END PRODUCTS BEYOND IMAGINATION Installation The Enigma Veyron Subwoofer consists out of modular levels. Each level should be positioned carefully and precise. All levels will have to be placed on Diamond discs, which have a small surface and can not handle high impact. - Page 13 KHARMA HIGH-END PRODUCTS BEYOND IMAGINATION Although the Diamond stands have a floor protector with felt for the bottom level, do not try to reposition the subwoofer after placing the Important subwoofer on the Diamond discs. The discs should be removed again before repositioning.

On / off Power switch Fuse switch DSP (for internal DSP) Input DSP (use when internal DSP is switched on) - Page 16 KHARMA HIGH-END PRODUCTS BEYOND IMAGINATION Important to determine before powering up the subwoofer is if the internal DSP needs to be switched on or off. • Internal DSP on: The left and right input of the DSP can be used and the LAN connection must be connected to the network to control the DSP parameters.
- Page 17 KHARMA HIGH-END PRODUCTS BEYOND IMAGINATION Powering the subwoofer Connect a power-cord to the power-module on the back of the subwoofer. Switch on the subwoofer using the red button. The subwoofer is on when the red button is lit. Always turn off the power of your entire system before making connections to the subwoofer or switching the internal DSP.
- Page 18 KHARMA HIGH-END PRODUCTS BEYOND IMAGINATION Muting the subwoofer The trapezium button can also be used as a mute button. Hold down the button for less then one second. The indicator light will turn to green. The subwoofer will remain fully operational, only the sound is turned off. To turn off the mute function, simply press the button again.

- Page 20 LAN Connection The Enigma Veyron Subwoofer can be controlled wireless with the iPad app: Kharma Control. Therefore the iPad must be on the same network as the subwoofer. Hence the LAN connector on the connector plate of the subwoofer should be connected to the same router / switch that provides the Wifi signal used on the iPad.
- Page 21 KHARMA HIGH-END PRODUCTS BEYOND IMAGINATION Standalone Network When it is prefered to have a dedicated network for the Enigma Veyron system, an easy way to control the internal DSP module via the iPad is explained below. The Apple Airport Express can setup a dedicated Wi-Fi network for the DSP that needs a cabled LAN connection.

Please update the app if available. When using the entry field, please be aware that the volume will jump to the entered value. The mute button can be used to silence the connected subwoofers.

The filter is enabled when the button is brown. An entry field can be used to set the cut-off frequency. There are three different filter types to choose from: Bessel, Butterworth and Linkwitz-Riley.

The performance of any loudspeaker depends upon the speaker’s location in the room and the acoustical conditions in that part of the room. - Page 34 For good results, the subwoofer should be close to the rear wall. In case of malfunction the customer has to present the Kharma product in its original packing to an authorized dealer. If qualified service appears inevitable, the dealer will ship the product to an appointed service station or to the factory, depending on the required service.
